(D4, MM) Hearing the Words of Love (Event Observation)

Various miai candidates occupy the chamber, alternatively working out their poetry, practicing their poetry, and listening to those performing for Pei Pei. Kakita Reina has her poem firmly in mind, but is truly enjoying watching the others perform. Meanwhile, Yasuki Jin seems to be trying to come up with something that doesn't involve private anatomy,

Having delivered her poem- Sakura moves away from the main gathering and stands, looking distinctly... unsatisfied.

Raizo cleared his throat as he rejoined the crowd.
"Now that I've put a level past which it should be impossible to sink, I don't want to see any of you overdoing it, hm?"

He seemed strangely unapologetic, however.

"It's not overdoing it if you've just got a knack for excellence, Kitsu-san. I'm merely pointing out that nobody else should worry about performing poorly after that dismal showing of mine."
He seemed notably... unconcerned.
Possibly because failure at something he had absolutely no background in wasn't exactly stressful.

That said, I do hope you find the time to deliver a poem to Shika-sama tomorrow; There was a famous poet in 804 who I studied for work who used your exact words as a two-part proposal."
