Koi appeared behind the Deer with a small smile and whispered softly into the Deer's ear. "We need to talk, it's important. Find me later."

She waited for him to turn.

It's not a long wait, at all. "Where and when?" he asks, a somewhat goofy grin appearing on his face.

Koi said softly. "Find me outside the castle. I must go now, I have a lot to do. A mystery is afoot!"

She tried to sound serious, and alluring but it just came out goofily.

Hikimasu worked on his poem and read it. Then he leaned against a wall and yawned, barely visible due to his mask.

Feeling somewhat lessened by not being able to perform magnificently twice now, Yuzu stays quiet in his corner looking depressed. Yet, he's not in the "angrier" mood he was yesterday. At leas internally. Externally, there isn't much to show.

She thought back to this morning, and the omen she painted.

"None that I would care to show," she answered with a shake of her head. "Although I did a few sketches of the garden. I hadn't seen such beautiful trees before."

Kept silent is that she also had made several sketches of Kheree, and mentions of other beautiful... things.

The funny thing being that if she painted horrors and omens, he'd likely be the least concerned with that, since he's seen some terrifying spirits in his life.

As he passes Narumi on the way in he gives her a big, comforting smile, "I'm sure you did great! Wish me luck... I'm gonna need it!" One hand absently plays with the pendant, and its prayers, around his neck.

Almost pressed against the wall, trying as hard as she could to become a wallflower, Narumi struggled to maintain face.
Things were... not going well, and her attempt at a haiku seemed to fall flat, further cementing how terrible everything was. She was terrible. Why was she here...? This was a disaster.
That is, until Bo smiled at her, and the cycling despair she'd been wallowed in skewed off course - "I- I-" she stuttered in awe, unable to put a sentence together.
