While such fears are understandable with one such as Bo they were also unfounded as he was oblivious to the implications. Instead he simply smiles and holds out the peony pendant a little from his chest, "Yeah! She loves makin' stuff and made this one special for me. It's her favorite flower."

She didn't have knowledge of theology... but Yasu had told her about the inscriptions.
"The blessings and support of one's parents, especially one's mother, have a way of being the sweetest balm during a storm, don't they?" she didn't really expect him to answer- and she couldn't answer either, having no parents so she really didn't know.
He's gifted an embarrassed smile when she realizes how close she'd wandered forward to him.
