She’s thinking fast, weighing the benefits of attributing her success to Togashi-sensei, denying it’s how she was taught, and claiming something else entirely.

The Kitsu accepted the compliment with decorum, noticing the embarrassment and deciding to alleviate the focus.

Koi kept fanning, and motioned for a heimin to fetch some water for her cousin. "Did you remember to take your medication today?" Koi was proper in concerned relative mode, a trained carer for her sick cousin.

When both of the moth looked to him he took it as a sign that they were not discussing anything overly private any more. He took the few steps to be in appropriate listening range and bowed with the introduction provided by Koi.

If you are interested, I could go and get some tea or water?" he said, making the offer in the interests of helping her feel more comfortable, but also doing so under the pretense of just a standard drink to go with conversation.

"Yes, Koi-nee-sama, I've taken everything I need," Fujiko answered with a tired smile. "As much as it feels like this, I'm not actually dying, I promise."

The Kitsu then stepped in and Koi introduced her. She was somewhat embarassed by the situation in which she was introduced, as it felt very much like Koi's compliments were irony, but her cousin always said such things about her.

"Nice to meet you, Kitsu-sama." She bowed from her seat. "It's very nice of you to offer, but I wouldn't dare ask of you such a thing. I believe a servant has been sent already. I do wish we could talk under better circumstances, though. Perhaps later today at the tea house? Would you also be free then, nee-sama?"

"I already have something scheduled for the tea house later," he says. "In fact, I have a good amount of events scheduled for the day already. But if you are interested I would gladly share breakfast with you tomorrow," he offers.

Koi stood beside her cousin listening and nodding. Good, this is what she wanted a good chance for her Cousin because if Koi was destined to fail at least her cousin would find happiness and this Kitsu seemed genuinely lovely.

Koi noticed the Deer standing lost in his own thoughts and her eyes travelled down his masculine for with almost an artists appreciation as she blushed.

Oh, the things you can do with that lantern and the silver bell... She thought and looked at her Cousin as the heimin brought over the water in time.

"Ah, not breakfast but could I borrow your assistance in an evening a few nights away about the subject we discussed? I could use the assistance of the Kitsu family." Koi said warmly, moving to sit next to her cousin.
