"Ah, misspoke," he says with a nod. "I sometimes attribute a random gender to fortunes without. I've called Musubi-no-kami a him as well sometimes. It's a bad habit that I cannot seem to break." He seems a bit disappointed in himself.
"If you wish I can tutor you." The Kaito smiled. "living in a temple has its perks."

"I will be glad for it, Bai. Break all my bad habits... well, most of my bad habits. I'm sure there are a few that you're fond of," he says with a grin. "Tricksters will be tricksters after all."

"Infinitely better in your presence," comes her reply. "And you? Have you had your rice today?"
"Inari-no-kami has been most kind."
A pause.
"So. Head still feel like a mujina's living in it?"

"Ughhh," comes a groan in the affirmative, but it's accompanied by a smirk Raizo knows well.

The smirk is not so well known to Moshumaru, who nevertheless.
"Oh, that reminds me - how did the poem go over?"

Her smirk softened into a smile - something real, rather than the polite one she'd worn on approach. Her gaze ticks over to find her mountain, and she takes a breath. "It, uh.. It went over perfectly; thank you again, Kitsu-san."

Zang was happy to have any reason to escape yet another explanation for why a flower titled a certain way meant anything other than, 'Flowers are pretty.'
He bowed at the approach of the Suzume.
"Ah, Suzume-san. I hope this day finds you hale and hearty!" he says.
"It's treated me kindly so far, Shika-sensei", he answered politely, with a kind smile. "Despite some worries, ne?"
He looked at the flowers around, then at the sensei again. "Shika-sensei... I have two questions I would like to ask. The first one is... " another look around.
"I... assume Shika Pei-pei-sama is well? No ill will towards Shika-sensei, of course, but her absence today had me... somewhat worried. Especially after some of the happenings yesterday."

Zang stroked his beard.
"I'm certain that she would not want you to worry, Suzume-san." he says. "Sometimes one cannot be everywhere on wishes to be, ne?"

"You don't even know which one I'm referring to, do you?"
He then took a little bit of pride himself.
"But yes, it was probably better."
