Another quick turn with the branches weaving so close you could touch them.

"Ah, it's the 'for a time' that's brining you back, huh? You would give up everything for them, but if you can spare them the harshness of life on the road, and give them a secure future for the rest of your lives, at the cost of playing some courtly games for a few more days.....it's not such a steep price is it?"

"That's about the size of it. Her life's been rough enough. No sense robbing her of a chance to get away from that just because I'm going nuts."
