Kyuden Shika

Emiko, finishing her debate with the very nice but slightly flustered Shika samurai, returned to the sides to watch the rest unfold.

With a smile, Emiko approached the young samurai who seemed to be stuck like a Deer in headlights at the approach. "Good morning Shika-san! Did you see the play that Doji Miriko put on a few months ago? It was a fantastic piece." "N-no Usogawa-sama, what was it like?" The rest of the discussion was ...

"Oh, that's pretty" Emiko commented about the meadow. The rain ruined the view a little, but she still smiled. She blinked and looked surprised at the grab though, and looked down at Hikimasu.

"Ano...fall forward?"

She didn't look sure, but she did as requested, falling forward.

"Are you sure you want to take that risk?" Emiko said with a grin "what are you willing to wager? It's a guaranteed loss so be careful."

"I know" Emiko said with a soft smile, letting him take the umbrella as they walked out into the rain.

"What? But I won" Emiko said with a shake of her head "you conceded when you saw the bow and arrow. That's how it went. That's how it'll always be remembered. However, I'll grace you with a chance to defeat grand master Mimi again!"

"So Kitsu-sama wants to face off all the spiritual threats in the world? I don't think I've ever seen one that the Otter have faced, although we travel all the rivers. Some spirits like rivers! Or maybe river spirits are all nice and that's why I've not seen a threat from one" Emiko looked thoughtfu...

"You can?" Emiko leaned forward slightly to try and see better, leaning into Hikimasu "where? Oh I think I see one! That's high up, how do you get up to them?"

She was clearly really enjoying the sightseeing.

"I would say take it with you to remember forever but not sure that would be appropriate" Emiko said with a smile "I'm not really much of a prankster, I just thought it would be amusing. I promise next time we play I'll take it seriously."

"Interesting" Emiko said with a nod, picking up her tea "so putting it off until you have someone to work on it with?"
